We are all influenced by how we feel about ourselves, how we relate to others and what our life experiences have been. But there are ways we can better understand these things, see a bigger picture and choose a different path.

Considering therapy is the first step on a journey of personal growth and understanding. Through learning to accept what we can’t change and challenging what we can, we can form new ways of being and start living our best possible lives.

Do you feel like every day is an uphill struggle?

Trust me you are not alone.

“It is okay to not be okay”

We are always trying to make ourselves and others ‘feel better’ but in trying to find a solution, we are often not actually feeling our feelings. Our emotions evolved to help us survive, so rather than avoiding, bottling up or brooding on them, it’s important to try and work out what they are telling us.

Life can be really tough. Learning to believe it is okay to not be okay, and seeking help when you need it, is an important part of our healing process. I can offer the support you need, in a safe and confidential space, to take those first steps.

Are you finding it difficult to cope during COVID?

Covid has brought so many new stresses and pressures, and many of us are struggling to maintain our mental wellbeing.

When we struggle to cope, we can lose sight of our own needs. We don’t take time to stop and think about ourselves. We don’t make enough space for ourselves. Therapy can help create a space for you. Space to think about what is happening, what is important to you and what changes you can make going forward.

“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom.”

-Viktor Frankl.

Sometimes in life we feel lost and hopeless. It seems like nobody understands, we have no direction and no way forward.

However difficult things are for you just now, these feelings will not last forever. You don’t have to avoid them, or hide them, or feel guilty for having them. They will pass. But moving forward means accepting that some things need to change. I understand that change is challenging and daunting but through therapy I can be there to help you take one step at a time.

Mental health is an integral part of our overall wellness.

Love and look after yourself.
